Based on mean performance of 22 genotypes Blackgram. Seed yield per plant was highest in case KU-48 (6.08) followed by LBG-752 (6.00) genotypes. On the basis Analysis variance, significant difference recorded for all seed and its components indicating presence large amount variability The magnitude GCV PCV plant, number pods biological clusters harvest index. High heritability coupled with high genetic advance as percent plant. Correlation at both genotypic phenotypic level, exhibited non-significant positive association primary branches days to maturity, height, index, seeds pod, pod length, 50% setting. Path analysis revealed that index registered direct effect It indicates true relationship between these traits selection will be rewarding improvement.
